Dr. Demetri Economedes
Dr. Demetri Economedes is proud to be a member of the Joint Replacement Institute. After his medical school and residency at PCOM in Philadelphia, he went on to specifically train in joint replacement surgeries of the hip and knee at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He is now happy to call the Triangle his home and looks forward to helping you regain your mobility. He is seeing patients at all of our locations.
Kathleen Boyle, LPN
Kathleen Boyle is our nurse manager and has been involved with the treatment of orthopaedic patients for more than 17 years. She is in charge of patient education at the Joint Replacement Institute and will guide you through your journey during your education session. Her expertise in orthopaedics allows her to answer many if not all of the questions you may have prior and following your joint replacement.
Jean Nauss, LPN
Jean Nauss has been involved in nursing care for over 25 years, which allows her to provide you answers to questions you may have pre- and post-operatively. You will meet her during your pre-operative visit, so be sure to have any questions you have written down and ready!
Debbie Icardi, Surgical Scheduler
Debbie Icardi is our surgical scheduler. She will be involved with you regarding scheduling for pre-operative and immediate post-operative appointments, surgical dates and any insurance related questions that you may have regarding your surgery.
